The Legendary LC-1A is a 15" Full Range Duo Cone 15 ohm speaker with a 25 to 16,000 Hz frequency response and a 120 degree dispersion angle.  As a result, it covers four times the area typical of other high quality 60 degree speakers.  The two coaxial cones are direct radiators with sperate voice coils, crossover occurs at 1600 Hz.  The low frequency cone is stiffened with seven acoustical domes which because of thier shape and relative location, contribute to the wide dispersion of the high frequencies from the tweeter, at the center, by spoiling the symmetry.  This eliminates the interference normally characteristic of such shapes without the loss of either high or low frequencies.  This pair of LC-1A speakers is paired with thier original enclosures, the acoustically designed "Olson"  LS-11 Cabinet, designed specifically and only for the LC-1A's.  Cabinet dimensions are 44" tall x 28 1/2 wide x 16" deep; the weight with the LC-1A speakers installed is approximately 90 lbs each.  Cosmetically the cabinets do have visible stains on the tops (see photos) and minor nicks as you would expect in cabinets of this age, but structurally the cabinets are solid.  This auction is for both the pair of LC-1A's and thier matching RCS LS-11 cabinets.  Because of the size of the LS-11 enclosures this auction for LOCAL PICKUP ONLY.   AGAIN THIS AUCTION FOR LOCAL PICKUP ONLY.  If someone wants the LC-1A speakers ONLY,  I can ship the LC-1A's ONLY via UPS Ground in the USA (please contact for shipping charges).  Please bid with confidence with over 1,000 satisfied customers with 100% positive feedback.  Thanks for looking!
